Cute little hostel, has a lot of potential! However there were a few hiccups in out stay. First of all we arrived late, but we had even informed the workers through WhatsApp that we would be arriving around midnight, where reception was closed. We arrived before midnight luckily, but the door to reception was closed, we tried opening the door, but realised it was locked. When the receptionist noticed us and came to check us in, we were reprimanded for "breaking the door", even though we just checked to see it was open. Furthermore the room desperately needed some thick blankets on the bed! It was too humid and hot to sleep with no AC, but with the AC on you only had some thin sheets to cover yourself with, and it got very cold. Our garbage can had no bag in it, and there were feces left on the bottom of it. Pool area was nice, but the pool needed cleaning, and the chairs and sunbeds had no cushions so you were lying on hard wooden panels, which were not comfortable at all.
Super nice staff Breakfast is small and simple but if you’re not paying for a buffet you can’t expect one. I liked it for that price Maybe the option for a thick blanket would be nice

Great little hostel with wonderful deck. Staff extremely helpful and most backpackers I spoke to thought it was one of the best they had stayed in I had a private room with Air Conditioning and Wi-Fi was excellent. Dorm rooms apparently get stuffy and some chose to sleep on hammocks on gorgeous deck Only minutes walk to everything and staff were great!
We stayed here for 2 Nights! The Rooms were clean the staff was nice! Only the bathroom was smelling a little bit because of the spillway! Everything else was perfect!
Air on all day if requested, very clean n well kept,friendly helpful staff,always organized party,s,outings,games etc great local for downtown tulim night life!!
Enjoyable place. To chill, to think, to feel. You will see a couple of persons, only, which means peace in the place, the others are getting a nap. You will identify the owner, nice conversations abour life with him. Clean rooms for all budgets. Now Im enjoying a glass of wine. Such a lovely place. Enjoy it and be quiet.
The location was great, good restaurants, stores, marina, all in a few blocks. The room is simple&small but clean. The shower had the best water pressure during my stay in Mexico so far! The outside hangout place was relaxing. The breakfast was basic, coffee, leche and cereal. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Chetumal has these swamps of tiny bugs flying around at night and they were all over on the celling of the room and bathroom too but they didn’t really fly around or bug us in the accommodation. Overall I recommend this place to anyone traveling on budget! (550pesos for a room with a double bed for two; they take credit cards which was a bonus)
